Bear is a male Miniature Pincher who first came to see us at Farmstead in April 2015.
Bear was being treated by his vet for severe diabetes (numbers in the 500’s!) as well as a “crusty” nose. He was getting 2 insulin shots a day as well as antibiotics for his nose. Neither was helping his condition.
At her wits end, his owner had discussed several natural options with us including switching his diet to help combat the diabetes. She decided to make the switch.
Almost immediately he responded!! Two weeks later, Bear’s nose had completely healed and he had no more need for expensive antibiotics. And within a month, his sugar levels were down to 250.
Bear is now a seasoned Raw eater and is much healthier for it. We continue to monitor Bear’s health, but he continues to thrive and do well on his new diet.
